When it comes to height, ladders are funny. I couldn't tell exactly how high I'd get with the 6 foot Flip-N-Lite. Once I received it, I was quite happy. This one is almost 6 feet tall from the apex. The top step is 44 1/2 inches off the ground. I can reach the raised ceiling with it.
How light is it? I'm a woman and my arms are skinny and weak. I can carry this ladder with one arm, although it's easier to do with two.
The top step is a platform. It is nice and wide with a bar to hold onto for stability. That bar at the top has a deep tray good for holding nails or screwdrivers, hammers, and other small things.
The feet have a rubber grip, it opens and closes smoothly. I don't have anything to complain about. Little Giant makes quality ladders, and it shows.

I have had this ladder for a few days now. It is a Little Giant brand ladder, but so far I have only found it online, and not in most Little Giant retailers. It is the 5' version, and it is easy to put up and take down. It is also very light, and most importantly, very stable. The rungs are pretty wide, and pretty grippy, except for the top platform, which is comfortable to stand on. The top handle is also a small tray, which I expect to come in very handy over time. It is also rated to hold 300 lbs, which is a little more than the typical ladder of this type. One caveat: If you are buying Little Giant brand because it is USA made, know that this ladder is (from what I can tell) the only Chinese made line that they sell. This was a little disappointing to me, but I am still giving the finished product five stars.

This is a great step ladder. I bought it at one of the warehouse stores about 6 months ago and have been thrilled with it.
The platform has a nice handle that allows for easy one handed collapse (or opening) of the ladder. It is very light weight so it is very easy to move from place to place.
While it is very light weight it is also very sturdy. I feel quite comfortable standing on the top platform. (note I am one of those nervous types that generally does not like ladders). The top safety bar has a tray for tools. It is easy to fold the ladder and have the tools remain in place.
The steps are wide and easy to navigate.
